Yoga Conservatory

A Contemporary, Accredited 200-hr Teacher Training at Yoga Refuge
Our next 6-month program begins September, 2017!

Yoga Conservatory is an accredited and innovative yoga teacher training program, developed by senior yoga teacher and theater artist, Kate Holly (ERYT-500, MFA in Contemporary Performance from Naropa University), and co-taught by a team of Portland’s best yoga teachers. Our non-dogmatic and interdisciplinary approach to yoga brings a therapeutic orientation while examining the intersection of creativity, self-inquiry and social justice with yoga. Students will learn a broad spectrum of yoga styles, including Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Prenatal/Postnatal, Gentle and Adaptive yoga in addition to anatomy, yoga philosophy and dynamic teaching methodologies.

Yoga Conservatory offers a rich and comprehensive training for yogis who aspire to begin teaching as a new career path, for students who want to go deeper with their own practice and personal transformation, as well as therapists, social workers, artists, performers, educators and other professionals who would like to integrate the power of yoga into their work.

Guest Faculty will include:

Todd Jackson (ERYT-500)
Emily Light (ERYT-500)
Fawn Williams (ERYT-500)
Kelly Sunrose (ERYT-500)
Juliana Scholl-Wallace (RYT-200,LCSW)
