Here’s the fall line-up:

Family yoga uses games, yoga poses, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques to create a foundation for health and wellness that can be appreciated at any age. The physical benefits of practicing Family Yoga include increased strength, flexibility, coordination, and posture. This class also fosters an understanding, loving relationship between parents and children and encourages open-hearted communication. Parents are welcome to bring more than one child to this class, and kids are welcome to bring more than one parent. This class is designed for children eight years and older.

Hatha means sun-moon in sanskrit, the ancient language of yoga. Hatha yoga is intended to create balance in the body. This class fosters a balanced, rejuvenative state by linking the breath and body through a sequence of flowing postures followed by sequences where postures are held longer. These classes are appropriate for students of all levels, as special attention is paid to alignment throughout the practice. Learn pose mechanics of all poses, including inversions, arm balances and backbends in a safe, supportive environment. Hatha flow yoga classes also include short chants and pranayama (breathing exercises) and weave yogic philosophy into the class through readings and meditations. Hatha flow yoga is a whole yoga class for the whole yogi.
