prana

your life force is a precious resource. the most precious resource, even.
conscious acquisition and expenditures: my current project.

there’s something about actively tracking something, anything, that quickly draws out any inefficiencies, leaks, wasted resource. touching in to life force also has had the effect of clarifying values (which of course, I love).

*

making is important to me.

earth(ly)/(y) endeavors are important.

learning is important.

being truly available and connecting to my people is also important.

*

for me, there is no added benefit to spreading myself thin. to paraphrase adrienne maree brown, i would rather be an inch wide and a mile deep than a mile wide and an inch deep.

*

stepping away from endeavors that >>appear<< beneficial, but that totally defeat the purpose of yoga and deplete/ divert prana has been necessary. and good.

*

watching a baby do anything restores prana.

really listening to someone restores prana.

all for now. with love.

  1. Ohhh yes! I love this.

Currently I’m finding forests and lakes so prana filling right now. And I’m spending time going to these places, this is very calming and nourishing for me and my Vata.

I’m pausing and considering before saying “yes” to people, places and things. I’m going to bed earlier.

And I’m working toward and with this from Adrienne Maree Brown ;0)

“This means actually being in my life, and it means bringing my values into my daily decision making. Each day should be lived on purpose”.
